Deportation, also known as expulsion, is the formal legal process during which the US government ordered a foreigner be deported.
The deportation process can be extremely difficult, emotionally complex and frustrating.
Reasons for expulsion
- Inadmissibility at the time of entry or adjustment of status, or state violations
- Forged documents or flaws in the registration process (Failure to register).
- Become a public charge or rely primarily on government.
- Criminal charges.
- Terrorist or security threats.
- Having voted illegally.
