Deportation


Deportation, also known as expulsion, is the formal legal process during which the US government ordered a foreigner be deported.

The deportation process can be extremely difficult, emotionally complex and frustrating.

Reasons for expulsion


  • Inadmissibility at the time of entry or adjustment of status, or state violations
  • Forged documents or flaws in the registration process (Failure to register).
  • Become a public charge or rely primarily on government.
  • Criminal charges.
  • Terrorist or security threats.
  • Having voted illegally.
